Getting ready for the big event is serious business! After months of agonizing and preparation it was time for the big show! Applying face
paint for the pre-Chicken-Que parade (commonly known as the Memorial Day Parade) we were all ready to paint the
town.........literally!
From the Tin Man to the Scarecrow and the Cowardly lion, we were all ready to tell the home crowd there really is "no place like home".
For the past three years with the help of Shawn our Skills Instructor from KIS/Clearlake People Services has been offering great floats for the Lakeport Memorial Day Parade. This year has been every bit as special. Year 2000 has brought about a new creative member to the PSI staff. She's become our make up and decorating artist.
Getting ready for the BIG event we've even been able to turn Kelly into the "50 foot teenager!
Both Shawn and Sarah exemplify the "extra" effort so many People Services staff have always made to make
PSI so special.
