You may want
to work on your worker skills as you consider joining the world of
work.
If you are choosing to enhance your work skills you can find work
opportunities in paid and volunteer work. You can join the work adjustment
program five days per week. When paid job openings are available you
can work up to three days per week. The other two days you can enhance
your skills by attending our worker training classes and/or volunteering
for one of our volunteer sites where we help others and you can learn
other work skills.
Paid work training opportunities (up to three days a week) include:

At Konocti Instructional
Services Lakeport, we are committed to improving the quality and scope
of our services to help you be the best that you want to be. Your

Konocti Instructional
Services is a licensed Day Program (License # 176800042) through Community
Care Licensing, the Department of Social Services. Staff to consumer
ratio is 1:4. (One staff for every four consumers), and 1:3 for the
worker adjustment training. Konocti Instructional Services is open
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Consumer training is provided
9 a.m. through 3 p.m.

Service Options:
Personal
Assistant:
If you are receiving services from one of our day programs and you
require assistance with your personal care needs, support can be provided
by a Personal Assistant. This is additional support for 1-6 hours
per day based on need.
Tutor: If you are receiving
services from one of our day programs and you require focused behavioral
assistance, additional support providing 1:1 staffing is available
throughout your program day.
