Konocti LifeStyles offers training and support in routine tasks of daily living, such as:

• Menu planning and meal preparation

• Community Safety

• Money Management

• Problem Solving

• Household Safety

• Access to paid and volunteer work options (e.g., volunteering pick up/delivery for Meals on Wheels)

• Access to local Colleges

• Participation in Service Clubs

• Scheduling flexibility

• Transportation

• Out-of-county day trips

• Access to 11th Street location for:

  ○     Art Classes

  ○     Spanish Classes

  ○     Sewing Classes

  ○     Knitting Classes

• Ordering food and Restaurant Etiquette

• Shopping and money handling

• Filling out applications for employment

Enhanced Services:

This 1:1 (1 staff to 1 client/consumer) service is an adjunct to community-based day program services, for consumers who need assistance with working, volunteering, along with basic personal needs such as toileting, feeding etc.

The purpose of this service is to provide these basic personal needs, so that clients can attend, and fully participate in day program services.

Support is provided according to the individual’s IPP and scheduled based on assessed needs.

In-Program support will be performed as a complimentary necessary service, in day program services.

The number of hours for in-program support would be determined by the regional center service coordinator, and program personnel who would determine the specific hours of utilization. A client receiving in-program support would have an individual schedule tailored to their personal preferences.

As a 1:2 program, Konocti LifeStyles offers individualized services that are tailored to the needs, wants, and desires of the client/consumer. LifeStyles offers clients/consumers the opportunity to experience support and services specifically designed to meet their needs.
Konocti LifeStyles offers Community-Based Day Services in Lake and Mendocino County that assist in developing socially acceptable behaviors/skills.
